Our Philosophy

MJ Tolbert Tax Firm LLC takes great pride in creating a wave of generosity that ignites positive change and transforms our community with monetary and non-monetary donations through education and simply giving where there is a need. We recognize our company as a direct link within the Tri-City area to help grow our community by providing reputable resources, incentive giving and providing informative content via all social media platforms. We are fully committed to remaining consistent in doing just that!  

Since Covid, we’ve done a number of things to help our community. Due to the pandemic, 2020 was tough on many families financially and emotionally. 

Many families faced hardship due to the impacts of COVID-19. We set a goal to help as many families as possible that were in need of a little extra support to brighten their holidays during their time of fear and uncertainty. Our company pulled together and gave away 80 bikes and electric scooters for our annual Christmas Giveaway. The smiles on their faces were priceless. 

We were also able to provide non-monetary services that had a huge impact on our community by assisting hundreds of taxpayers to receive their stimulus payments and kept all our local businesses up to date with the different loan and grant opportunities. We pivoted to virtual, which was amazing for everyone.
