Tyrannosaurus Tech is a custom software and app development company in Atlanta, GA specializing in website development, mobile app development and innovative design. We are a team of top-tier designers and developers that thrive on solving complex problems, designing elegant solutions, and providing maximum ROI for our customers. Through our own proven, transparent, and collaborative agile process, we help companies leverage technology to tackle their biggest challenges. We humanize the development process and clarify the complex undertaking of bringing an idea to life. Working closely with our clients, we determine a clear path forward towards success and continued growth. Put simply, our team combines passion with superior technical talent to create one of a kind web and mobile products.

Our founders Richard Simms and Carlos Gonzalez put a lot of energy into making sure our team is active in the community and giving back. In particular, we feel invested in supporting, growing, and opening up the Atlanta technology community to others.

In more ways than one, our team is invested in Atlanta. We’re from here. We’re building our business here. We’re raising our families here. Helping make Atlanta the best place it can be by utilizing the skills we have is a “no brainer” and gives greater purpose to the work we do each day.

In 2016, Carlos started LiT (Latinos in Tech) Atlanta. The group has over 800 members, hosts monthly educational events, and has done amazing work in connecting and fostering a community of latinos working in tech in the area.

Richard Simms serves on the Host Committee for Community Bucket’s “Tech Gives Back” initiative, a monthly volunteer event in which hundreds of people working in tech in Atlanta volunteer at various sites around the city cleaning up parks, packing medical supplies for shipment, or feeding the hungry.

Tyrannosaurus Tech also hosts free educational events, has a summer “apprenticeship” program for aspiring developers, and open office hours for those that want to drop in and learn about technology or ask questions about their app idea.

Volunteer Engagement

Throughout the pandemic, Tyrannosaurus Tech has participated in various volunteer projects including improving local gardens to benefit the #FeedATL program through Food Well Alliance.

They also held a letter-writing campaign with More Love Letters to bring joy to those in need!

Resource Contribution

Tyrannosaurus Tech donated school supplies for the International Community School in Decatur, which aims to bring together refugee, immigrant, and local children in an academically challenging and nurturing environment.
