H.J. Russell & Company has always been active in the community in many different ways and for many different causes. From sponsorships to donations to community service projects and walks/runs, we are giving back in all of the various communities in which we operate. It’s just a part of our DNA. It’s what we do.

Russell Rocks the Block
The community engagement arms of our firm, H.J. Russell & Company, and our sister company, Concessions International, LLC (CI), Russell CARES and CI Cares respectively, joined forces to give back to the Castleberry Hill community. Castleberry Hill is a westside Atlanta neighborhood that we have been a part of for nearly 70 years—long before the Westside was trendy.

Russell CARES Visits the Salvation Army
Russell CARES donated 50 sets of Playtime Bed Sheets to children who live at Red Shield, a 324-bed facility that provides refuge and safe lodging for homeless men, women, and families in crisis.

Russell CARES Volunteers at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding Hospital
Just before Mother’s Day 2018, we launched Russell CARES at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Hughes Spalding Hospital with a pre-Mother’s Day Fun Factory patient party with food from Chick-fil-A at Vine City and fun hosted by former V-103 radio personality Mo Ivory. Russell CARES volunteers helped patients make Mother’s Day gifts and cards for their moms and other loved ones, while mothers received flowers and children received a set of Playtime Edventures bed sheets donated by Russell along with a goodie bag.
